Ali Krieger is officially single and dating again.
The USWNT superstar disclosed that she is in a relationship with a ‘wonderful’ individual nearly a year after her highly publicized divorce from Ashlyn Harris, her former teammate.
On the She Pivots podcast this Wednesday, Krieger confirmed her new romance.
‘I’m currently dating a wonderful person whom I genuinely like. I’m so thankful that we crossed paths,’ the 39-year-old shared.
She further explained that it was important for her to ‘grieve’ the end of her marriage to Harris before entering into a new relationship.

Harris and Krieger share custody of their two young children, Sloane and Ocean
‘It provided me with the time to focus on soccer and wrap up my career, while also healing from my wounds,’ she said.
‘I believe that now, after eight or nine months, I’ve had the chance to grieve and process all those emotions.’
Krieger, who married Harris in 2019, shares custody of their children, Sloane, 3, and Ocean, 2, with her ex-wife.
She expressed her determination to make their relationship work, but Harris quickly began a new relationship with actress Sophia Bush.
‘I truly valued what we built together. I loved her and our kids deeply,’ Krieger reflected.
This news comes just a week after Harris described their divorce as ‘one of the hardest seasons’ in her life.
Harris also opened up about the online harassment she and her children have encountered following their marriage’s end and her new relationship with Bush.

She filed for divorce from Krieger in 2023 after four years of marriage
‘I’m going through a challenging divorce,’ Harris, 38, stated during a recent Women’s Health event.
‘I can’t control how others respond. I have to focus on myself, my body, and simply being human,’ she continued.
‘My turmoil shouldn’t affect theirs. It’s one of the toughest challenges I’ve faced—managing a divorce with very young children while shielding them from my emotional struggles,’ she elaborated.
Their separation became public in September 2023 when Harris initiated the divorce and quickly began dating the actress from John Tucker Must Die.
In her recent panel discussion, she acknowledged the support she receives from Bush in managing her mental health challenges.
‘I often tell Sophia — if I’m heading into a challenging situation, I must be prepared. I need my tools, my oxygen mask, and a plan,’ she shared.
‘I am determined to break through barriers and find a solution, even if it’s not the easiest way out — whether through a window, back door, or whatever it takes. I’m ready for the journey.’
