Dan Cammish has joined his teammate Ash Sutton in securing his immediate future with the Alliance Racing British Touring Car Championship team by signing a new multi-year contract.

Four-time champion Sutton finalized an agreement extending through the end of 2026 with the NAPA-supported team just before this year’s BTCC season kicked off, and Cammish has now followed suit with a similar arrangement.

Cammish originally signed with Alliance, previously known as Motorbase Performance, for the 2022 BTCC season. Since then, he has achieved four victories behind the wheel of one of the team’s Ford Focus cars and currently sits fourth in the championship standings.

This season marks Cammish’s best performance yet with Alliance, as he trails standings leader Jake Hill by 42 points heading into the second half of the season, which resumes at Croft this weekend.

The 35-year-old, who is a three-time winner of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, was once a title contender with the Dynamics Honda team and came close to clinching the 2019 championship, missing out by just two laps.

“I am thrilled to have signed another multi-year agreement with Alliance Racing,” expressed Cammish.

“My time with the team has been incredibly enjoyable, and I take great pride in continuing our partnership.”

“The support I receive from the team, along with NAPA, is incredibly special, and I can’t express enough gratitude to Pete Osborne [Alliance Racing boss] and Steve Richardson [NAPA UK CEO] for their trust and assistance in this opportunity.

“I am eager to return to the track this weekend at Croft, knowing that I have this outstanding team backing me both now and in the future.”

Osborne remarked: “We are absolutely thrilled to extend Dan’s contract with NAPA Racing UK and in the BTCC. He has played a pivotal role in our team’s success and is a fantastic individual to have in our paddock.

“Dan exemplifies professionalism both on and off the track, having demonstrated the speed, racing skill, and consistency needed to compete with the very best on the BTCC grid.

“We are excited to have Dan and his family as part of NAPA Racing UK for an additional two years, and we look forward to achieving even more milestones together.”

In addition to the contracts with Sutton and Cammish, Alliance announced earlier this year that it has secured support from the NAPA auto parts company through to the end of 2026.
