Jason Kelce sported a blue beret that complemented his ‘USA’ T-shirt as he and his wife Kylie enjoyed the Olympic events in Paris on Saturday.
The Kelces turned out to cheer on the USA women’s field hockey team during their opening match on Saturday evening.
Having played field hockey in her youth, Kylie also participated in a TikTok video with several US players earlier this year, making their trip to Paris perfectly timed following Jason’s retirement.
‘I’ve always dreamed of attending the Olympic games,’ Kylie expressed to The Associated Press after the US was defeated 4-1 by the top contender Argentina.
‘Once they qualified for Paris, it seemed like a perfect opportunity. After meeting with Ashley and Kelee, it was an obvious choice. We are thrilled to be here.’

Although Jason would have loved to experience the Olympics live, scheduling conflicts with NFL training camp prevented him from doing so.
His brother, Travis Kelce, is currently in training camp with the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, while his high-profile girlfriend, Taylor Swift, performs in Munich.
‘When we realized we could go, we discussed it and decided to seize the opportunity since we could finally do it,’ Jason remarked.
‘We are passionate about sports, competition, and global events. This is a rare occasion where the world unites to celebrate sports and competition.’
The Kelces are no strangers to these themes, with Jason being a Super Bowl champion during his 13 seasons as a center for the Philadelphia Eagles, and Kylie having played defense in field hockey during high school and college.
She admitted to feeling embarrassed about the TikTok collaboration with Ashley Sessa and Kelee Lepage, but felt it was worth the experience.
‘It was an incredible experience to engage with them about what this opportunity means to them, their aspirations, and the journey that brought them here. Witnessing them on this grand stage is truly awe-inspiring,’ Kylie explained.
‘It’s a full-circle moment for me, as the field hockey community really comes together. Regardless of the level of play, we can all appreciate the significance of this event.’

Sessa, who netted the sole goal for the US team, praised Kylie, calling her one of the most remarkable individuals she has ever met.
‘Meeting Kylie was a wonderful experience; it was inspiring to connect with someone so dedicated to enhancing the sport,’ Sessa shared with the AP last week.
‘It was fantastic to engage with her and discover how relatable she is. She has a kind spirit and is very approachable.’
After witnessing a match that Jason felt was closer than the final score suggested, he had high praise for the young US team full of Olympic newcomers.
‘They played with intensity, and facing arguably the world’s best team was no easy task,’ he commented.
‘It was an enjoyable match to watch, and I am proud of the girls for their resilience.’
As for the source of the beret? ‘From a souvenir shop,’ Kelce revealed.
