The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris has ignited global controversy with drag-queen-themed portrayals of religious and historical figures.

Among the presentations celebrating the nations participating in the Olympic Games, there were several acts drawing inspiration from France’s rich history and culture. Notably, a headless Marie Antoinette, the last queen before her execution during the French Revolution, was depicted singing while holding her severed head adorned with drag-style makeup. This performance was indicative of the recurring theme featuring various drag queens throughout the ceremony. Additionally, three drag queens participated among the 10,000 torchbearers who transported the Olympic flame from Greece, across French territories, and into Paris.

A recent presentation showcased what appeared to be a multitude of performers, including drag queens and a larger woman in a halo crown, humorously reinterpreting “The Last Supper,” the iconic painting by Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci depicting Christ and his apostles.

Many prominent political figures, especially from the United States, criticized this display, labeling it a symptom of the cultural decay in Western civilization.

“Men in wigs are front and center at the Olympic Games,” OutKick’s Riley Gaines stated on social media. “Don’t ever tell me this group is ‘oppressed’ or ‘marginalized’ again.”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who recently acquired the X platform, criticized the spectacle, calling it “extremely disrespectful to Christians.”

Harrison Butker, an NFL player known for his Catholic faith, quoted scripture to denounce the display, stating, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” Galatians 6:7-8.

Oli London, an ex-transgender influencer, depicted the scene as “Olympics openly mocks Jesus’ Last Supper as drag queens dressed as women portray the disciples while a plus-size woman symbolizes Jesus wearing a giant crown.”

“The Olympics has essentially become one long drag show,” anti-woke commentator Libs of TikTok remarked. “The event has gone completely woke.”

SUPREME COURT DENIES DESANTIS IN LEGAL BATTLE OVER DRAG QUEEN BAN

“What is happening at the Olympics?” video journalist Nick Sortor questioned. “It’s no wonder nobody watches anymore.”

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton commented, “The transnational Left holds disdain for Western civilization.”

“This is absurd. Launching the event by replacing Jesus and the disciples in The Last Supper with men in drag is outrageous,” radio host Clint Russell declared. “There are 2.4 billion Christians globally, and it seems the Olympics is sending a loud message that they are NOT WELCOME right from the start.”

Canadian conservative commentator Harrison Faulkner inquired, “What on earth is happening at the Olympics opening ceremony?”

Juanita Broaddrick, who accused former President Bill Clinton of rape, responded to the event by stating, “Paris had already fallen before the Olympics. This is just a continuation of that.”

Finance and culture expert Wall Street Silver stated that this reflects the bleakest aspects of modern France.

“At least China showcased the best of their country during their Olympics,” he remarked. “France, however, seems intent on presenting its weakest and most unfavorable features during these Games.”

Army veteran and radio host Bob Lonsberry expressed, “Some of this may explain why many chose to leave Europe for the United States.”

Marion Maréchal, a conservative French politician and European Parliament member, cautioned international audiences that this divisive display does not represent the French people like herself. She stated, “To all the Christians around the world watching the #Paris2024 ceremony who felt insulted by this drag queen parody of The Last Supper, know that this does not reflect France’s voice but rather a left-wing minority eager for provocation. #notinmyname.”
