Team USA swimming sensation Caeleb Dressel was at the forefront during the men’s 4×100-meter freestyle relay final on Saturday night at Paris La Defense Arena, aiming for his eighth Olympic gold medal.
As Dressel put forth an incredible effort in the pool representing the United States’ first Olympic gold medal at the Paris Games, every supporter in the stands erupted in excitement.
Among the enthusiastic crowd were iconic rapper Snoop Dogg and Dressel’s wife, Meghan, who were cheering passionately together while holding their sleeping baby as the race reached its thrilling conclusion.

A video circulating on social media captures Dogg and Dressel shouting towards the pool, urging Team USA to clinch the gold. Fortunately for Baby Dressel, he wore earmuffs to keep his sleep undisturbed.
Once the U.S. was guaranteed the victory, Dogg and Dressel celebrated with a joyous high-five.

Such moments showcase the solidarity that the Olympic Games and sports foster. The two, hailing from completely different worlds and likely meeting for the first time, were united in cheering for their nation to secure the gold.
The 52-year-old rap icon was present in Paris for the opening ceremonies, dancing with the Olympic torch.

Caeleb Dressel, Chris Guiliano, Jack Alexy, and Hunter Armstrong clocked a winning time of 3:09.28, outperforming Australia, which took home the silver at 3:10.25.
Italy narrowly seized the bronze over China with a time of 3:10.70.
This triumph sets a positive tone for the remainder of the men’s swimming events. Australia and China are formidable adversaries for the U.S. as they strive for dominance in global swimming.
