Leslie Diaz, a 25-year-old from Miami, Florida, has been cruising since she was four years old.
She shared with Fox News Digital that her parents emigrated from Cuba to the United States in 1995 and preferred cruise travel.

“They always aspired to explore the world while living in Cuba, so cruising became an easy way to visit various locations quickly,” she explained.
Today, Diaz’s passion for cruise ships has turned her into a full-time food and travel content creator.

“Since launching my food and travel page five years ago, opportunities to cruise and travel have expanded for me, allowing me to share my enthusiasm for cruising and encourage everyone to try it at least once,” she mentioned.

Diaz expressed that the best aspect of cruising is “its convenience and relaxation,” particularly since she resides in a popular cruise departure city.
She explained, “Most cruises leave from Miami, so for me, it’s just a quick drive to the port, an easy passport check-in while they take your luggage, and that’s it … I’m off on vacation.”

This globe-trotter has visited 55 countries in her short 25 years and shared with Fox News Digital that cruising is the most straightforward and convenient way to explore multiple destinations quickly.
“I also appreciate traditional travel, but it typically involves much more logistics and can be quite stressful at times,” she commented. “There are additional flights, car hires, train commutes, hotel check-ins, luggage management, etc.”

Despite her fondness for cruise ships, she remarked that they can evoke different feelings among travelers.
“People generally have strong opinions about them; it depends greatly on the individual traveler’s preferences,” she noted.

Diaz often opts for a cruise over traditional travel because vacations at sea can be “either laid-back and tranquil or filled with excitement and adventure.”

“The cost of a cruise varies based on many elements such as the cruise line, cabin type, travel season, itinerary, etc.,” she stated.
“Prices can be as low as $600 for an entire week or reach up to $1,500.”
