A Champions League club has been required to state that Jurgen Klopp is not associated with them.

Klopp concluded his successful tenure as Liverpool’s manager at the end of the last season.

Earlier this week, the German tactician claimed he would not be taking over as the next England manager after Gareth Southgate’s exit.

Moreover, Klopp indicated that he is not expected to return to coaching in the near future.

However, a staff member who closely resembles Klopp was spotted at a training session for a notable European club this week.

Igor Grskovic, a masseur for Shakhtar Donetsk, gained attention this week for resembling Klopp.

Shakhtar used their official X account to clarify: ‘No, it’s not Jürgen Klopp. It’s our masseur-rehabilitator Ihor Grshkovich.’

Shakhtar Donetsk, who secured the Ukrainian Premier League title last season, will participate in the Champions League group stage for this campaign.

During the International Coaches’ Congress in Wurzburg, Klopp remarked: ‘As of today, I am done as a coach.’

‘I didn’t step away on a whim; it was a thoughtful decision. I have already managed some of the top clubs worldwide.’

‘Perhaps we can revisit this in a few months. I still wish to contribute to football and utilize my experience and network. Let’s see what opportunities arise for me.’

When asked about potentially managing England, Klopp stated: ‘At this moment, there is nothing available regarding jobs. No clubs, no countries.’

‘It would be the most embarrassing moment in football history if I claimed, “I will make an exception for you now.’

‘I plan to engage in some work. I’m too youthful to merely spend time on padel, tennis, and grandchildren.’

‘Will that entail coaching again? I would currently discount that possibility.’

During his tenure at Liverpool, Klopp notably led the club to their first league title in 30 years in 2020. He also secured the Premier League, FA Cup, two League Cups, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup, along with the Community Shield.
