Simone Biles has clinched the seventh gold medal of her remarkable Olympic journey with her triumph in the vault final on Saturday.

Before a star-studded audience that featured the likes of actor John Travolta, track champion Allyson Felix, and artists Pharrell and Flavor Flav, the gymnastics icon achieved an impressive score of 15.3 across her two vaults.

With this victory, Biles, already recognized as the most decorated gymnast in history, becomes only the second woman to win two vault titles at the age of 27.

The American athlete has now secured three gold medals in Paris, having previously won in both the team finals and the individual all-around event. Her teammate Jade Carey took home the bronze, while Brazil’s Rebecca Andrade earned the silver medal.
