Former President Trump expressed his belief in heaven and discussed his prayers during an appearance on “The Ingraham Angle.”
While speaking with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, the 2024 Republican nominee conveyed his views on how the United States has “lost” a lot due to a decline in religious practices compared to the past.
Following the assassination attempt at his rally in Butler, Pa., where he was injured, Trump remarked that he had “God on [his] side” when he addressed attendees at the Republican National Convention.

“I believe one key reason our country has seen such a decline is the reduced role of religion in our lives,” Trump shared with Ingraham. “When you look at the statistics, they tell a disheartening story. I mean, things are deteriorating, and the Democrats have been brutal towards religion during COVID. Their actions meant people weren’t even permitted to gather outdoors, maintaining even ten feet apart in large open spaces.”
“They arrested everyone. They acted like fascists. It was a troubling time for organized religion — but faith offers hope. If I’m good, I can go to heaven,” he added.

Trump mentioned that he prays for his loved ones, the United States, and the world at large.
“I pray for our nation,” he shared. “I pray for the same things you pray for — our family and country… We have a family, a country, and I also include the world in my prayers. I’ve prevented what could have escalated into world wars.”
He warned that a world war could be “very close.”
“Given the situation with Russia-Ukraine, we are investing billions. Now there’s a call for offensive weapons, suggesting we strike Moscow. Trust me, we are on the brink of a world war. The Middle East is on the verge of chaos, and the Russia-Ukraine issue is more critical than you might realize.”

Ingraham then inquired if Trump believes in heaven.
“I absolutely do. If I’m good, I’m going to heaven,” he replied. “If I’m bad, then I’ll end up somewhere else.”
