The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has made public images of the individuals suspected of being involved in the murder of “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor, which occurred in May.

On Sunday, as part of a community alert, the LAPD released photos of a vehicle that the suspects are thought to have used to escape from the scene.

Authorities have identified the vehicle in question as a 2018 black, four-door Infiniti Q50 featuring a tan interior.

Scarlett Wactor, Johnny’s mother, stated that he and a colleague were asked to remain late at a rooftop bar where he worked as a bartender to clean up and were heading back to their cars in the early morning hours of May 25.

According to police reports, Wactor, 37, was “confronted by three individuals” when he discovered that they had his vehicle “raised up with a floor jack and were attempting to steal the catalytic converter.” One of the suspects shot and killed him.

In the days following the incident, Anita Joy, the co-worker who held Wactor in his final moments after he was shot, shared distressing details on her Instagram about the events leading to his death.

“I’ve needed to take some time to collect myself and my thoughts. I was with Johnny in his last moments, and now I want to be his voice after such unimaginable events,” she posted. “He was taken from us senselessly by a coward who acted without regard for the beautiful life he extinguished,” she expressed. “I’m feeling angry, sad, and a whirlwind of emotions, but above all, I stand for Johnny’s justice.”

Joy previously recounted the confrontation and Wactor’s final moments, clarifying they posed no threat to the thieves.

“We cautiously approached the men, initially thinking the vehicle was being towed,” she explained. “We were no threat, and Johnny calmly asserted that it was his car and they needed to leave, arms open in a peaceful gesture.”

“Johnny stood between me and the shooter,” she added. “The distance was too close, and the injury was too severe for him to survive, yet he fought to cling to life,” she reflected. “I am utterly devastated and incredibly angry. My solace is that I was with him and this did not occur in isolation—for my peace, I hope to see these despicable men face justice.”
