Authorities are conducting a search at Yosemite National Park in California after two hikers went missing and did not return to their campground on Saturday, according to official reports.
The hikers, 63-year-old Miguel Delgado and 40-year-old Ana Rodarte, were last spotted departing from Bridalveil Creek Campground around 10 a.m., as stated by the National Park Service (NPS) on Sunday.
Officials believe the duo intended to embark on a day hike towards Ostrander Lake and were expected back within a few hours, but as of Monday morning, they still had not returned.
Fox Digital has reached out to the NPS for further details regarding the search for the missing hikers and their anticipated route but has yet to receive a response.

Rangers have described Delgado as a Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket with blue details, an orange t-shirt, tan pants, and carrying a backpack.

Rodarte is described by rangers as a Hispanic female, measuring 5 feet, 7 inches in height, weighing 198 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last observed wearing a gray windbreaker, green pants or jeans, and a blue ball cap.

According to the NPS website, Bridalveil Creek Campground is situated at an elevation of 7,200 feet, surrounded by red fir and lodgepole pine forest, with several hiking trails nearby along Glacier Point Road. It is noted that there are no available services in the vicinity.
