Vice President Harris has gained a 3-point advantage over former President Trump as she makes progress on crucial issues, a recent poll indicates.

The survey, carried out by NPR, PBS, and Marist, shows Harris leading Trump 51% to 48%, though it noted that this margin falls within the margin of error. Additionally, Harris has reduced Trump’s lead on significant issues, such as the economy.

Despite this, Trump maintains a considerable 6-point edge on illegal immigration as per the poll. Conversely, Harris has a substantial 15-point lead on abortion-related issues.

The Marist poll was conducted from August 1-4, featuring a margin of error of 3.4%.
