- West Ham may pursue right-back Kieran Trippier this summer
- The Hammers have included the Newcastle defender on their list of targets
- Julen Lopetegui’s team is also engaging in discussions with Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka
West Ham has placed Newcastle’s Kieran Trippier on their radar for right-back options while continuing negotiations with Manchester United regarding Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The 33-year-old defender joined Newcastle in 2022, and his contract with the club is set to expire next year.
Trippier faced challenges during the previous season, struggling to find his form throughout the 2023-24 campaign.
The England international, who participated in Euro 2024, featured in 39 matches for Newcastle last season before missing the latter part due to a calf injury.
West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui seems eager to secure a new full-back as the club intensifies their efforts to sign Wan-Bissaka.

The Hammers have also been in talks to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United
The Manchester United defender is also in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and is being linked with multiple clubs, including West Ham.
The Red Devils are asking for around £18 million for the right-back, and if Wan-Bissaka departs, United will likely pursue Noussair Mazraoui in further negotiations.
Last week, United had an offer for both Mazraoui and his teammate Matthijs de Ligt turned down.
The club remains interested in PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte, but it seems they will need to offload players to raise the necessary funds to sign the Uruguayan.
This week, United rejected a £23 million bid for Scott McTominay.
West Ham has already secured the signing of German international Niclas Fullkrug for £23 million and Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville for approximately £25 million, while Guido Rodriguez has joined the squad on a free transfer.
