Tiffany Davidson, who manages Nova’s Instagram account @missnovagirl, shared that during gymnastics practice, she informed Nova about Biles’ comment, leading to an excited reaction where Nova proudly showed the comment to her teammates.
Nova has been training in gymnastics since she was 3 years old. Her mother started documenting her journey on Instagram, attracting a supportive audience, and the viral video has caught the eyes of several celebrities, including Biles, Joscelyn Roberson, and Hezly Rivera.
“This experience has shown her that gymnastics is vastly larger than just her gym – it’s a vibrant community, and it’s wonderful to meet new people,” Davidson stated regarding her daughter’s Instagram following.
Nova had the chance to meet Biles at an event last January, and the memorable encounter was captured on Nova’s Instagram.

In the video, Biles can be seen autographing her book “Flying High” and hugging the thrilled young girl.
Davidson recounted the sweet moment, stating, “Nova had prepared to express so much to Simone, but when she saw her, she was overwhelmed and barely managed to speak. She even forgot her age when Simone asked her.”
“Simone was incredibly kind and referenced a previous viral moment where Nova asked if Simone farts. Nova may not have said much during their meeting, but she frequently talks about it afterward, making it a cherished memory for her,” Davidson added.
Biles’ supportive comment came during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where the USA women’s gymnastics team competed and ultimately won the gold medal.
