Former President Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’ meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, labeling it as “terrible and insulting,” and claiming that the White House showed disrespect to the Middle Eastern ally.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with both President Biden and Harris in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

Trump remarked on his social media platform, Truth Social, “P.M. Netanyahu of Israel had a terrible and ‘insulting’ meeting in D.C. with Kamala Harris, who also neglected her duty to preside over Congress during his speech, an obligation of the Vice President. Such a breach is rare.”

Trump continued, “Her incompetence will significantly prolong the war and delay the release of hostages. The same individuals who embarrassed us in AFGHANISTAN are now advising Israel to refrain from fighting against Hamas. They’re asking us to overlook October 7th!”

While Trump’s post included the word “insulting” in quotes, it remains unclear whether he was directly quoting the prime minister. Fox News Digital has reached out to the Trump campaign for clarification.

An Israeli official informed Axios that Netanyahu was dissatisfied with Harris addressing civilian fatalities in Gaza and the critical humanitarian conditions there.

The White House responded to reports on Friday, with one aide telling Fox News, “I have no idea what they’re talking about.”

Trump reiterated a message he has previously expressed, claiming he is the only sensible choice for Jewish American voters. He extended the same opinion to Catholic Americans.

“Any Jewish individual voting for Kamala or a Democrat should have their head examined. Similarly, Catholics, who are being persecuted by this administration, should avoid voting for Radical Left Kamala. VOTE TRUMP 2024. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
